As members of the United Methodist Church, we, along with Christians of other communions, confess belief in the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This confession embraces the Biblical witness to God’s activity in creation, encompasses God’s gracious self-involvement in history, and anticipates the consummation of God’s reign.
Methodists are known for our emphasis on a personal faith lived out in concrete ways in the world. Following in the footsteps of our denominational founder, John Wesley, we believe that the essence of the Christian faith is inward and personal and evidenced by the way we live with, love, and serve others.
In keeping with our Wesleyan heritage, we value well-informed and passionate preaching, worship that is lively and small groups where people can grow in faith and Christ-like love for one another.
Methodists have open hearts and open minds. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about the Christian faith.
